Bouvier's have a very thick double coat, and because of this they require brushing daily, and weekly baths on their beard and legs.
They always have a dirty and/or wet beard, and their coats will matt easily if they're not given the brushing they need every day.
It's a lot of work but they love their daily time with you and the results are well worth the effort.
